Default Whites tree frog soaking behavior

I'm just curious, has anyone ever noticed that their whites swells up while soaking? Mine does all the time. He's 100% healthy, moves around a lot at night and eats well, so it must ok.

Yep, mine do too. I always figured it was similar to a person's fingers swelling up during a shower.

I always thought they just found a few extra crickets ;-)

My littlest one looks like a beachball after soaking.

You know this is a hard one for me...

My White's is so fat I can't tell if he bloats up while soaking, but I suppose it's totally possible and if others have experienced it it's probably totally fine. XD

I know this is off thread subject, but what was outcome of your frogs burn. Did it heal without scaring? How long did it take?

Hi Gingerlee, I think you asking me this with my Whites? If so, yes, it has gone away and he looks awesome now. He actually got this same mark on aother section of his head and when I built the new 18x18x24 Zoo Med I moved the lighting to a canopy and hes been fine ever since.

Ahhh, this one turned to a scab and then as it healed another appeared on the other side. Since they are in the new viv, the canopy is on top and they are not sleeping on an electrical splitter are the bulb.

The wound is fully healed, just a lil crease in the skin, kinda like a scar. Thanks for asking though.
