Hi,
I have just got home with my 2 new Amazon Milk Frogsand I thought I had everything set up for them but now i'm confused!!
They are teeny tiny which is what I expected so they are starting off in a smaller tank, but the guy that sold them to me (I really like this guy, he's great with reptiles) has told me never to use UV lights with them
. I'm confused because I have read in loads of places that they need the light for vitamin D3 to absorb calcium.
What do you guys use/recommend?
Also can I use Zolcal-D or will this be bad too??
I believe frogs can benefit from UV exposure, especially treefrogs. After discussing it with some folks at the ABG, I am more convinced that they do receive some benefits from it.
Ok! Great! Thank you so much for your reply, I was getting worried!![]()
