Default Pics of an "unknown" frog

    Hi All,
I have recently acquired some frogs that jumped on a crate of chameleons from Madagascar to to end up in a 20 long, here in Boca Raton, Fl. I know the pics are not all that great, going to have to purchase a better camera if I'm going to keep making posts
The frogs were sold to me as Madagascar Grass Frogs but, I cant find anything conclusive. They are really awesome little frogs that remind me of cartoon side characters, like the penguins from the movie Madagascar.
If anyone can supply more information on these funny little frogs, please do.

I can't seem to ID it for the life of me, the nearest thing looked like a tree frog with the padded toes.

I'd buy two in any case! Very handsome little bugger.

They don't look right for pustulosa. Also, I think I remember there being something wrong with that latin. I'll look around and pop back on here.

I'm plenty jealous as well, those are rad. JVK

    Hi Guys,

Scaphiophryne pustulosa is considered synonymous with S. madagascariensis.

    Scaphiophryne madagascariensis

So you can find info by googling both names.

Post pics of the males! Thanks,JVK

It's not Scaphiophryne marmorata . Scaphophryne has tree frog toes, the one the guy has doesn't - they almost look like toad toes.

Just look at the toes. THE TOES!
