    Default Help!!

Today I found that a cat had got hold of a frog from the garden and although he is still alive, he has had half of one of his front legs bitten off. He is sitting on the edge of a shallow water feature. He hasn't moved since about 3 o'clock. Is there anything I can do for him?

Hi there and welcome to the forum 10cats :-)

Im sorry for the frog, but being wild I think if you took it to the vet the stress of that would be worse for the little guy. I would maybe place it out of view and let what will be will be. Sorry .

NOTE:This is just my view and the alternative would be to take it to the Vet and see if it can be saved or have the vet euthanize it .

If he survives he will probably adapt to life with the missing limb. I would just let him be.

Thanks for your advice. Is there any food I should put near him?

if he is still alive I'd suggest offering him worms because of the fact that thier slow moving and won't be to hard for him to catch! hopefully the little guy is doing fine! let me know how he makes out!
