Default 50 and 29 gallon tanks

After careful deliberation, I just purchased a 50 gallon and 29 gallon tank.

The 30 gallon tank I just finished will finally house a trio of Phyllobates terribilis Yellow which I will soon receive.

The new 29 gallon will be for the pair of azureus that I will get this Summer and I have a 50 gallon that I also have yet to build and decide what will be in it...

    Decisions, decisions...

    Eric

Oh the addiction. I'm right behind you Eric. This build I'm doing is mostly experimentation and once I can butter the wife up I will be doing something on a larger scale for a pair of darts.

I think we're just going to have to remove the couch from the living room for some more frogs.
She won't mind standing through all her TV shows I'm sure.

I swear Don, my wife is cool with my obsession, but she's starting to look at me to see if I am really sane ... We have a big place, but it's not gigantic, and with two kids... My toys collection will need to be packed... At least some of it... Next place will get will have a room for it...

We're getting married in September... Should I invite the frogs?

    Eric,

You have gone bigger on the tanks and I have gone smaller. I just picked up a 10 gallon from petco for something like 12 bucks. I'm going to go with a vertical setup and try the clay background this time. Now I need to order one of those front panel kits.

I think its more fun to work with the bigger tanks. The ideas.....
    1.2.0 Dendrobates tinctorius 'Azureus'
    1.1.0 Dendrobates Lamasi 'Orange'
    1.1.0 Dendrobates Ventrimaculatus 'Understory Line'
    0.3.0 Dendrobates leucomelas

    --------------------------------------------------
As always your mileage may vary!
I may or may not know what I'm talking about!

Are you looking to house some thumbnails in the near future? Sara did our vents enclosure... She is much more detail oriented and had a great time doing it. I got an incredible deal for the two tanks I just couldn't say no. The 50 gallon will stay aside until I really get an idea, on plants and frogs to put in.

Can't wait to see what you'll do with your 10 gallon. Mike.

No decision on what will go in there. Right now I want to see how the process goes. With clay if you don't like it you can just tear it out and try again. I really did not want to do that with foam, tho Great Stuff is pretty cheap. Clay is just easier to clean.

The place up the street from me sells his tanks at cost.... oh the temptation. 24 bucks for a 20 long, another 100 for two frogs..... wheres that tax refund anyway? :-)
