you dont want to use hot water for plants and cuttings, it could damage them.
%10 bleach solution soak for 5 to 10 min. then rinse very well over and over again.
after a good rinse I allways let them soak again in non bleach water and change the water a few times untill I feel confident that there is no bleach left. then let them dry out.
