Yes, they both are lovely frogs. You could always have both and set up two enclosures. That way you have no dilemma .

I wish I could keep both of them, but I honestly don't feel like I have enough space or money for both frogs at the moment.

You could buy a bigger tank and seperate it in the middle.

Corticale are pretty aquatic so a good water area is needed. No problem with humidity with a water feature. They can handle temps down to the mid to upper 50'S without causing a real problem. The mossies also have a much nicer call imo. Milks get just a bit bigger.

I have never kept Milks but mossies were my first frogs and i did very well with them.

I would suggest mossies hands down

I have my group of 4 at a friends house now in a 55 high I think. here it is

Both really cool frogs! I was looking at both of them for the build I'm finishing up right now, but decided to go ahead with a few bird poop frogs. They are still on my list though for the upcoming future.

I would get a couple Mossy Frogs. You don't see them for sale as much as the Milky, so when you find some for sale I would snatch them up and then if down the road you want milky frogs you'll find them easier. Where as with the Mossy you might be waiting months till someone has some available.

jenn- by "bird poop frogs' do you mean hyla marmorata or themoderma asperum.
both are commenly call bird poop frogs. I assume you mean marmorata, also know as marbled tree frogs. this is just one example why I try to avoid commen names.
also the entire genus of theloderma are know as mossy frogs not just corticale.. they are also know as warty frogs and paddle legged frogs. I see corticale and "milks" for sale both pretty regularly. I would actuall say I see corticale more often for sale. I see them at just about every show I have been to.

just for fun- one of my f1 asperum holdbacks

Thanks for the heaping of info Eric.

Still trying to learn the scientific names for everything as well as sort through the confusion of common names that everyone attaches to them.

I would love to get a few T. asperum which is what I was actually referring too. I didn't know the entire genus was considered to be commonly called "mossy frogs". When I think of the mossy frog I just think of the T. corticale. I would also like to get a few hyla marmorata, but if I can I would prefer to get a couple asperum first.
