Thanks Mike. Yeah, this was more for learning and something fun to build.

I can't wait to some day do tis type build for a set of frogs in a 18x18x24 or a 40 breeder :-)

I think this type of setup really lends itself to the taller square shaped vivarium. The 18x18x24 certainly comes to mind. The 40 breeder would really allow for the cascading effect if it was placed upright on one end. One thought that came to mind is lighting. I'm not sure about enough light penetration down to the lower levels to allow for good plant growth.

It would certainly look very cool with several ledges of various sizes and plants growing on them and hanging down. You could also add real or fake vines of various types and sizes to add even more of a jungle look.

It would be tree frog heaven!!

I agree totally. I would love to do a full blown out version. Water dripping off ledges would create great humidity levels.

I would guess that higher end lighting would be needed to sustain the plant life down low. Metal Halide? Now we're talking money and heat :-)

Maybe a focused LED Lighting option would do the trick.

Plant selection might actually be the key here. Stagger the plants according to their lighting needs.
