I would suggest picking up a book on Pac Man Frogs. A ten gallon is fine, but you could always put him inside a small container with no substrate for feedings, then remove him when he is done. You could also feed him by hand with forceps. As I said, a warm frog will eat better. Try feeding him in the evening or at night, as they are nocturnal. A warm misting will wake them up to eat.
I prefer Moss to coconut fiber, cause the coconut fiber makes them look all dirty.
A baby should eat about every day to every other day, usually about 2-3 medium/large crickets. As adults they only need to eat once or twice a week, and mice I would only feed a few times a year.
Pac Man frogs have always been a favorite of mine.
Most books are outdated and filled with bad information imo. And the ones that aren't I read but I prefer to gather a bunch of information, and learn from people about animal care instead of picking up one book and assuming I'm an expert. I don't know of many reptile books that I would even bother reading again anyway. I prefer to get my information from owners themselves. Thanks.
Well, I get most of my information from books, there's just no substitute. Sure some have some out-dated info, but for the most part, most of what is in them still applies. Its also good to have them to refer to when needed. I buy books when ever I can and TFH has been putting out a good series of books lately. I have purchased two so far, the poison dart frog one and the treefrog one. Both are written by experts in their fields. (The guy that wrote the treefrog book helped out with my article on red-eyed leaf frogs) So I were you I would seriously rethink my book policy, as anybody on the internet can say what ever they want, doesn't make it true though. Here we try very hard to keep things acuarate, but I can't say this is true for all forums.

I agree with Kurt completely. Here are a couple links to two excellent books on keeping Horned Frogs. Both of these authors I highly experienced in the field, I found both of them extremely helpful, basic as they may be.
Amazon.com: Horned Frog Family and the African Bullfrogs, The (Reptile Keepers Guide) (9780764111273): Richard Bartlett, Patricia Bartlett: Books
Amazon.com: Horned Frogs: Plus Budgett's Frogs (Herpetocultural Library) (9781882770885): Philippe De Vosjoli: Books
Yeah and both of those books are under $10, so there is no excuse not to have them.
I don't have a Pacman yet but i plan on using John's Super Frog Tank Method, Cheap and Easy to maintain. When i get one im definetly doing that.
