    Default They have arrived! Phyllomedusa Tomopterna!

    They came in this morning in perfect health, as I expected and are just beautiful! They're everything I imagined and more. If you're ever in want of these frogs, Mike Novy is the guy to see, he's super friendly and helpful and is easy to work with. Prices are pretty good too. XD

    But anyway, on to the fun part. >< Picture time!!!!!!!!

    Here they are right out of the box, I was so glad to get them out of there and I bet they were happy too, if a little scared. XD;

    Here's a close up of the male's face, he has awesome speckles all over. Mike gave me the cream of the crop. XD

    Here's the female, she was a little scared, I think she's playing dead in this picture.

    The male jumped right out of his cup when I held it up to the pothos and made himself comfortable on the snake plant right away, definitely the more outgoing of the two.

    I had to take the gauze out of the cup to get the female inside the viv, I think she's really nervous. But if I leave her be hopefully she'll start to feel less scared.

    I still haven't decided 100% on names, so check out my crowd sourcing forum if you want to vote. Please do, I need help. ><

    Here's a link to the thread: http://www.frogforum.net/tree-frogs/...g-names-d.html

    And I'll be uploading more photos into my albums on my profile if anyone wants to check them out.

    Thanks for viewing! ><

    Oh wow! Hi! It's so cool to be greeted from someone way out in Hong Kong, nice to see you on the Frog Forum!

    Unfortunately I can't read the paper. It was just the one the breeder chose to pack them in. XD; But thanks for your comment! I recognize some of the Kanji, but I wouldn't know the Chinese readings, I'm in my fourth semester of Japanese right now and still have a lot to learn. XD

    Thanks so much, I'm very happy with them! ^ ^

    The pics of their viv are in my album if you wanna check them out, I'll put a link.

    Are you getting some of these frogs? If so and you haven't decided where to get them from, Mike Novy from Rainforest Junkys is the place to go, he has great prices and it really good to work with on these frogs, nice guy and has good advice and can answer any questions you have.

    They're doing OK so far, though I just got them today. XD I can't wait until the tiger pattern matures, they're going to be stunning!

    Here's the link to the albums for the viv: Frog Forum - Kisa's Album: Viv setup/s

    Thanks for the congrats! I'm so excited! ><

    It absolutely felt like christmas Cheri I was so excited I couldn't stop from shaking to take the pictures. My boyfriend had to do it while I held them up. XD;

    Yeah I'm gonna just relax and leave her be, hopefully she'll calm down and feel more comfortable soon. I don't need another stressed frog, it's like torture. ><

    So hi all, I've decided on names!

    Drum roll.............................................. .................................................. .........................

    Apollo and Artemis it is!

    Sorry to all the Jack/Harley fans out there (I know there were just TONS and TONS of you. >>) But the Greek Gods won by 6 to 4.

    Thanks to everyone who voted though, it was a big help! Apollo and Artemis appreciate your caring. ^ ^
