Hello everyone!
I joined this forum to ask for help identifying the attached image of tiny toad (if it is?).
Perhaps this isn't the appropriate place for identification questions but its not obvious where to go, sorry....
For scaling purposes the grout between the tiles is 5mm wide. Also bear in mind that I live in Italy

It could well be Bufo bufo.

Welcome aboard. I assume John is correct in his ID, as I consider him to be much better acquainted with European anurans than I am.
It just didn't look like bufo bufo to me, the adults are easy to identify but this one had red spots all over his back and red stripes either side of his head; however I admit I am fairly ignorant about frogs and toads! But will learn as there seem to be a few around here.
