Just thought I'd let you guys know I've been using lobster roaches with my firebellied toads and they couldn't be happier. They LOVE them. And they're smarter than crickets and aren't constantly jumping into the water and drowning themselves.
"Aww....roaches"
I've been meaning to try these I hate crickets :P
i started a colony of dubia roach as i think crickets stink lol and there noisey its a thumbs up for roaches from me
cheers spencer...............
Gees!!..They are so big. Yummy.
I have a very small colony of hissing roaches, but have never heard of lobster roaches...could you post a picture of them?? I wonder if I can get them in Canada.....
Lobster roaches climb, so you have to be a bit more careful to avoid escapees. I like Dubia better - very hardy, eat and thrive on cricket gut-load + veggies, don't climb, fly or smell, and the froggies love them...
Here is a pic of a lobster roach I "borrowed" from Aaron Pauling...
