Greetings guys glad to see theirs a cool frog forum. I'm used to using reef central for my saltwater reef habit. So I know how helpful forums like this can be to a new person getting into the hobby like me. I bought 2 small pacmans yesterday. I currently using a 10gal with a divider. I used forest moss as substrate for now. I read in one of these forum post that this might not be the best substrate for these frogs. Please advise on bedding and tank set up. I will post some pics later tonight.
Take the moss out and replace it with coco fiber
ok thanks off to the store to buy some coco fiber as we speak.
ya i just changed mine out from moss to coco fiber yesterday if the frog eats it on accident and eats too much it can kill him, they dont digest it very well...mines still a little stubborn at eating i fed him two crickets yesterday tried one today and he decided he wasn't hungry lol...do yo u have a pic of your tank set up
No pics yet because I am getting a really nice camra next week. But I will post some pics with my phone tonight. I still need to get some more stuff for the tank . I will make a burrow and get some fake trees for some shade.. Right now my tank is just coco fiber and water bowls. The setups are always so simple when you see theses guys in the store ( 3 pacmans in a 5 gal) their seem to be nothing wrong with this before i got one but now I have 2 of my own. I want to add as much as possible to make a good home.
Heck ya thats awrsome just remember to keep his humidity around 80 percent and temp at 70 to78 degrees....look at my album ull see my set up its simple but cozy
seen it nice tank cmerf07....I have only had my temp and humidity gauges in for 10 mins . Right now the read close to the marks you said.
