By together, I think he means toads with newts. I think FBTs are a lot more fun in a group.
This works fine if you take care of them like you would in a species tank

This works sometimes if you are "lucky"

Biggest problem I found is that newts appear intimidated by the toads speed and roughness, newts are slow and gentle, totally opposite, toads often take food out of their mouths..
