Default Is a White Tree Frog right for my tank?

Hey, I was thinking about it and went to go look at my vivarium. I am starting to wonder if my tank is big enough or even suitable for a White's Tree Frog after seeing how big others get. Here are pics:

Those are the main pictures of my tank I know it isn't that heavily planted but I didn't think a white tree frog would want that much of a densely planted vivarium because it might make it hard for them to navigate. If the frog I get is small though then I might add some more plants though. The current plants in there are fake. Some other notes are that there is a zoo-med heating pad under the tank (which I am going to try and move to the side), a zoo-med repti-fogger, and 5.0 Reptiglow and a Sunglo light both from Exo Terra. The tank size is 18x18x24. That is also moss on the bottom near the fern, a water bowl, and a rock near the bottom right corner. Oh and a hiding place that looks like a tree stump.. sadly it is plastic though But let me get to the point, lol. I really had my mind set on getting a White Tree Frog (I don't like abbreviating its name to WTF for I hope obvious reasons, lol) but the more I think about it the more afraid I get my frog might not be right for it. Even if I don't end up getting to get a White Tree Frog because you guys say it isn't recommended, I am more than happy to get another type of frog So any recommendations would be great! (Although if a White Tree Frog CAN live in the vivarium, I would rather have a yes answer to it than get another frog)

Yes, 18x18x24=7776div231=33 gal. Plenty room for2. If u want bigger frogs I suggest babies, I beleive they get stunted at store. But if u have Lil ones u need a ten gall till they grow to about 2". More plants and vines with kind of a path. They like to walk (off the ground) to their destination. Daytime temps to80 ambient and 90 in basking area. humidity looks a Lil high in yr Picts, but 60-70% is ideal. Humidity will increase after lights out. Looks like a whites home to me, just a few more things. Maybe a driftwood perch/ hide/ and the frogs!!! Good luck in your search.

Thanks for the information!!! I will order the frogs soon if you think it is ok. I want to see the actual size they come in first before I add more plants, I don't think a day or two of considering should hurt them too much. And about the humidity, lol. It is extremely high in the tank I know, but it was getting a little low (around the 50's) so I left it on for a while. I am trying to get a good balance, but it is proving difficult. I think I will just leave the fogger on about 30 mins a day in the morning (Like early morning dew I guess in the wild) and maybe spray it once or twice before bed. I plan to get two frogs and once they get older (considering they aren't too big already) I am going to probably add some sort of more durable main branch in there. My budget is a little low right now (especially after I order the frogs) so the perch might have to wait.. But as soon as I get the funds I will buy one! I saw some really cool decorating stuff for my vivarium at Petsmart. So anyway, thanks for the advice! You will now receive a like, thanks, and a reputation thingy! Thanks again!!!

Hey, I'm queen of being a broke joke!! U can go for a hike and find some really good sticks, get one that's barkless, very dry, and sun bleached. Look at mine in alblum, it's oak. And to make vines, there a few ways, use rope and coat with brown silicone, 2, use old fish tank air hose, insert a wire( coat hanger) and melt around so frogs don't get poked, brown silicone and ground coco husk or chopped moss if u like. And the most chalenging wrap wire in twisty fashion and coat with brown silicone. More chalenging cuz it's soo stiff, choose placement and shape to fit first.

    Thanks for the rep!!!

lol no problem. I will go look for some plants today after school, frogs live nearby so I might go around there (even though it was a complete disaster last time) and get some things to put in my vivarium (plants, branches, etc.). But thanks for the advice! And I think that is the first time someone actually gave advice that I could do because I HAVE the materials!!

Welcome...you can get real plants at Walmart for under $5. They will help with the humidity. POTHOS is a good plant. Leaves are very sturdy and its impossible to kill. It also grows very fast. You can even leave them in the pots if you don't want to plant them in the ground.

Thanks! I will try to remember that when I go plant shopping!
