    Default New to frogs

I have a 14 gallon tank I just freed up from haveing freshwater fish in and was just curious about keeping frogs in it. I am brand new to these but do still keep fish and have a bearded dragon. Have a few questions:

What kind of mechanical items are needed when keeping frogs? Does the water need to be filtered in any way? Changes need to be made?

I would like some type of waterfall. How is this done in a tank?

Obviously I would like a decent sized water hole in it. I was thinking either half water and the other side a dry part or maybe the front and middle of it water and all around it I can have a dry part.

What kind of frogs/toads can I put in this and how many?

Are there frogs that don't make a whole lot of noise?

I'm sure I have more questions but that's all I can think of now til I get some help on these ones.

It sounds like firebelly toads are the frogs for you. Check out the care article on the left to learn a little bit about them and their care and then visit YouTube and see them in action...or maybe Eric can make a link for you..

Cheri is a funny one... And welcome to Frog Forum!! I agree with Cheri, fire-bellied toads might be your match!
