Hi all
Kermit my young pacman has settled in since I got him a little over a week ago
He is eating well but I have a question- the supplier told me to put a cricket or two in his tank and let him feed naturally but he really seems quite lazy. I'm not sure if it was shyness in his new home but he's really only taking the dusted crickets if I put them very near him. I encourage him to move a bit further each time to get his food- almost like I'm teaching him to hunt. Last night was the first time I saw him even try to move quickly towards his prey. Am I spoiling him with this feeding technique or is it ok? I don't want to rear a lazy frog if it's bad for his wellbeing.
Thanks in advance, Lou.
Cut the crickets in half? Won't that kill the crickets??
As far as my pacmans go... they won't take anything that is not live..
The way I feed him is simple, I just dust the crickets and let my pacmans do their things...
I don't cut mine- they go in whole
Kermit is not keen on anything that isn't moving
Yea i got mine last saturday i try feeing him about two crickets a day sometimes i have to dangle the cricket in front of his face just to get him to eat it idk if he's not hungry or what...its an albino pacman
you can try the 15 minute rule, I just plain lazy and dump 10 and leave it... Others may not recommend it, but I have no problem work it so far
