Newt?

I don´t know small amphibians at all. Is this a newt? About 3 1/2 cm long. Colombia.

Nope. Colombia doesn't have any native newt species. Your little friend isn't an amphibian, he's a reptile. It's a gecko. I'm not sure on the species.

Pitter what you can find in Colombia are salamanders.

In Colombia you can find species of the salamander genus Bolitoglossa, but they live in the trees, often at altitude.
