Hello and Thank You!

Found my way here from a link on DB. I have been lurking and reading for awhile now and recently set up my first ( ) vivarium. No darts just yet, still reading and learning.

Just wanted to say hello and Thank You for all the wonderful information found here thus far.

Welcome to frog forum Richie. If you get a chance why don't you post a picture of you tank....so we can give you suggestions on what to fill it with.

Here is a shot taken shortly after set up. I have since relocated the Broms just a tad ( "pinning" them in ) I have also added creeping fig that runs from upper left and down. Some Hoya cuttings are added to the right side of the wall and hang down. Leaf litter has also been added and seeded with springtails. I have been practicing keeping springtail and fruit fly cultures.

This is a 10gallon vertical. I am limited space wise so 10g verts are pretty much my size. I will be starting two more soon.

I realize they are not considered "starter" darts, but given the layout I am most likely going with Imitators. Vents would be great as well.

We shall see, for now I continue to read, practice making cultures and see how my viv fills in.

Thanks for joining us Richie. Why don't you check out the vivarium section thread about a contest we're having right now that runs through March. Everyone is welcome to participate and all you have to do is start a thread showing us your build, what kind of plants you have in there..etc...etc. check it out. The winner will get a misting system...all you need to do is be willing to share with us here on frog forum.
