    Default Foods for whites?

What would be some good healthy insects for whites? I've heard roaches were healthy but I have a fear of roaches. Crickets are the main diet as of now but I want to vary his diet up and give him some healthy treats once in a while.

U can buy canned silk worms and hand feed. I treat mine with meal worms and waxies, not healthy food though, as they're all fat. But I let some waxies turn to moths, they love that chase. I buy exoterra canned crix (10$) and theyre the big black ones, yum!! I also paid 5$ for earth worms at Petco, supose to be parisite free. Those are actually the perfect protein for them. Soak in water 5 minutes, and strip **** out before feeding. Wild foods are full of parisites, so now I'm scared to catch the wealth of hoppers I have in summer.

Hornworms, silkworms, butterworms, or phoenix worms are all good additions to the diet with pretty decent nutritional value (butterworms are a bit fatty, but have tons of calcium).
