You are right. At first glance I thought it was just protecting its eyes from the hand but her eyes do look unhealthy in the third one also. As far as the first picture, from that picture I would say giant still. A side shot would be better.

I noticed that as well, i guess im gonna pass on them. They were cheap for the both but i rather have some healthy frogs then just throw my money away on something that isnt healthy. Is it normal for one that is a year old to be that small tho that just doesnt add up to me. Im talking about the one with the sharpie next to it

the one next to the sharpy pen looks like an edulis <dwarf> and the other one does not look right at all, i think you made the right choice to pass on them,

Agreed, it seems way too small for a year old. Mine is nearly that big and it's only about a month or two old. (Length wise, the one in the pic is really fat)

They look like females to me, both of them. Not all frogs are born to be monsters. If you're in any doubt about their health, avoid!
