I need help with an ID

My boyfriend recently got a new tree frog, but the pet store people had no idea what kind she is. I'm hoping someone can help me ID her species. Her skin is the color and texture of a dark green avocado skin. However, the color changes to add in random patches of sandy gold. Her sides are black with white spots, and her belly is white. She has vertical pupil slits and gold eyes, and her eyes are very prominently places on top of her head, which is relatively flat. She is about 2 inches long. Does this sound like anything anyone recognizes?

The vertical or elliptical pupil is not very common amongst the tree frogs. So narrowing it down is fairly easy. So to your question "Does this sound like anything anyone recognizes?" My answer is, yes, a frog of the genus Leptopelis. They are members of the family Arthroleptidae, the big-eyed treefrogs. The two most common species imported into the US are L. vermiculatus and L. flavomaculatus. A third species L. uluguruensis is often seen as well.
Below are some links to pictures of the three species I have mentioned. If your frog does look like them but not quite, don't worry about there a lot more species in this genus. If it doesn't look like any of them, then I guess its back to square one.

Thank you Kurt! She is definitely a Yellow-Spotted Tree Frog. She looks just like the one that is in the top row, second from left. Well, that's just what she looks like when her skin changes. She's often 100% green.

I am so glad to know! I will post a picture of her as soon as I get one.
