Woah, that's an interesting eye. Reminds me of what happens to an LCD screen when it gets cracked.

On the bed a beast I'm guessing that's coconut fiber? If so yes you need to soak it for about 30 minutes in some water then just add it to your tank. Did it today for the first time and the guys seem to like it and I don't have to worry about impaction like i did when I had reptile wood chips in the tank.

    Anyways welcome and cool frog.

I think Schloopy is definitely a Green Treefrog, Hyla cinerea.

    Minus the stripe.

As for the eye, it looks like it's inverted or backwards or something. I'm not sure if she can see through it or not.

Hi Infinity..Cool, she's lovely. One very unique individual, I think her eye gives her character

How much water do I use? Do I drop the whole block in a bucket of water or what?

I think so too. I tell myself I did her a favor by grabbing her because her wonky eye would've eventually been her demise. The eye does kinda change in appearance. I'll try to snap a shot sometime soon.

Does that eye adjust to lights?

Assuming it's still in compressed brick form then it should tell you on the packet. About 5 litres per brick is a safe medium and you can always squeeze out some of the water afterwards.

I have another picture of her eye just as I promised. This time I set up a tripod and my camera and went to bed after turning out the lights. I started hearing her jumping around after that so I snapped some photos in the dark using the little green light for anti-red eye feature to guide me. Here... look for yourself.

That is not crud you see on her eye; that is her actual eyeball. It is very strange.

edit: when comparing this pic and earlier pics does it look like she's put on weight or am I just imagining it?
