Another reason for runny feces could be dehydration which you would treat with a saline solution. Don't buy the saline from a drug store though as those have been mixed for humans only and might not do well for frogs. I was told 5 grams of salt per gallon of water I think? But I'm not sure about these measurements so you should look it up. Other than that Ginger's right, you should probably get a fecal exam done and try the warm bath to see if it could be impaction. If this doesn't work and your frog just gets sicker, try to find a herp vet in your area. There's only so much you can do from home.

Im leaning more towards parasites as the cause, due to the fact that he is most likely a wild caught. I purchased him from a local petsmart on an impulse buy (bad decision i know i was just trying to give a frog a better life lol)

Are there any medications i can acquire without seeking a vet or should i just play it safe and take it to a specialist?

I don't know anything about parasites so I would say your safest bet would be to take the little guy to a vet, just to be sure you're treating him for whatever he has right. If you go to treat him for parasites and it's not, you could seriously injure the frog. It's best to be 100% sure about what he has before you do any kind of outside treatment.

Check the basic first aid article for treating parasites. Any WC whites should go through that process to be on the safe side.
