Mine went through a few adjustment days, sleeping at night, still eating poorly, poop a little odd. But I can say this, the odd sleeping has passed, and i think it was just part of adjusting to things. It is very active and climbing now, so I suggest waiting it out a few days, offering food, but not panicking so much. Worst case, try a very dillute pedialyte solution that can stimulate appetite.

Thanks Rocko, hopefully it is just an adjustment thing. It's just weird because he ate like a starving orphan the first two days, he even went crazy for those larger crickets and now all of a sudden he just ins't interested. When I pulled him out he was active, walking from hand to hand and even taking little jumps. When I changed his paper towels he climbed the glass because I think he was looking for his coco hut. His eyes are bright too. There was another odd thing, when I first brought him home he stayed a blue or greenish color while he was sleeping and since I fed him the larger crickets he's turned a really dark brown, almost black while he sleeps. This is probably just due to stress...hopefully if I just leave him alone he'll be ok.

I think it's the adjustment to being alone and well fed. From being in a petshop with other froggies and constantly competing for food, Bruce probably went overboard the first few days. Now he's getting his stomach to settle.

Yeah...you're probably right. I'm probably just over reacting. I know Mr. Campbell went through something similar to this after I started having to bring him to the vet. He wouldn't eat for two days and then all of a sudden he decided he was hungry again and after that he was constipated for almost three weeks, now he's doing everything normally again. It was a pretty tumultuous few weeks but we got through it. I'll give little Bruce Wayne a few days and just hang on to hope that he's adjusting and he just needs some time. ><

Thanks Rocko, I really feel better now. It always helps when someone gives me good news from their own experience. ^ ^

Real quick, you said your White's poops were odd for a bit? Did you experience what I am, yellow and watery, or something else?

Well before he got put on the dark brown substrate, the paper towels he was on had maybe not totally watery, but more like sprinkles of poo instead of the normal white's logs you seem to find all the time. Now it may just be because of the way he likes to sit that just made a mess of it after the fact, but that's what I had seen.

Ok I see what you're saying. Yeah when I first brought little Mr. Wayne home his poops were big and fat like you'd expect from a White's, then after I fed him the large crickets I saw kind of what your describing, like a sprinkling of little poops here and there, like he was moving while evacuating or something. And then he did the watery yellow one this morning. Maybe he really hadn't eaten any large crickets before (like they said he had in the store) and his body has to adjust to the differences between them and the babies. Either way he needs time.

I feel loads better now that you mentioned the situation with your White's. I remember you saying that it was hard at first because it's belly was misleading and you weren't sure if it was really eating or not? Babies can be tough, but my big guy was a brat at first so at least I have some experience dealing with difficulties. XD

Yeah I mean, I have my big healthy Indonesian whites that eats as soon as the bugs hit the ground, but this will be my second blue phase, and they always seem to come younger, I guess cause people snatch them up so quickly. While my current one is maaaaaaybe 2 inches right now, the first one I had was thumbnail sized and never ate. That did not end well inspite of my efforts. I am beginning to think food size matters greatly, especially since I suspect the blue ones might be from the shallow end of the gene pool and harbor some difficulties.
