    Default Heavily Aquatic FBT Tank

Just thought I'd upload some images of my firebelly tank. My tank is a little different than most I've seen. It's 10 gallons, with 5ish gallons of water. I use floating turtle docks for land with one of those half logs for cover as well as floating cork. The major reason behind the design of my tank is waste management. More water means poo gets more diluted, the filter, substrate, and plants all function to convert the waste. Malaysian trumpet snails aerate the substrate and eat algae, along with the japanese algae eating shrimp (which by the way works like gang busters). The cherry barbs, male, female, and albino, are just there to be cool and in that respect they definitely succeed. Now the photos:

Wow, that's awesome! Makes me feel very confident in my tank which has a lot of water in it as well. I was thinking it had to much water and not alot of land and room on the top half but looks like it'll be fine.
