Default Hello, in need of help

Hi, has anyone out here, ever encountered red leg in a whites tree frog? I have been reading abit on it, but I cannot find any pix, and that would be helpful to rule out hopefully whats going on with my big guy. I have had him almost a year now, he has a buddy in the enclosure thats doing just fine. My big guy seems to have stopped or maybe just cut back on eating. He's usually my social guy, likes to hang out quietly with me where the other one prefers to be left alone. I noticed yesterday one of his eyes had the third eyelid covering it, so I pulled him out. I have recently bought a zoo med reptifogger. Im thinking, my humidity gage isn't accurate. I thought I was keeping them around 50-60% humidity, per what I have read, and when I got into the cage, I found all kinds of water under the reptile carpet, which I use coz I don't want them injesting anything that would hurt them. Now why I am curious about red leg disease, is because his underside is pinkish, not red, pinkish. I think I am definately going to splurge and get a controller with digital read outs. Any ideas for me? Its hard to find a good vet that can deal with exotics. I'm open to all ideas, questions etc thank you

Pinkish is nothing to worry about, at most its a little bit of iritation. Red-leg will apear as an "angry red."

    Kurt,

Thank you so much for replying and putting my mind at ease abit. I just had him out for abit, he loves to hang out on my shoulder, hiding under my shirt and is quite content, that is till he poo's and I have to disturb him lol. At any rate, He is opening his eye abit here and there, he expelled alot of water much to my surprise, and poo'ed which looked normal. I just want to beable to give them the best care. I'm not real worried about how much he's not eating, as he has a nice brow, I don't want him to gain any more. His buddy was scrawny when I got him, and he's looking good. I'm so glad I found this sight, am relatively new to using forums, but I'm hoping to learn more by reading thru. Thanx again!! I really appreciate it
