Wakes from his sleep to eat EVERYTHING!

Well, this is one of my males, Zaza. Since he has awoken from his brumation he has been a terror! Going after anything that moves. Bashes against the tank all the time. Grabbed 3 baby chicks in one sitting before I cut him off. This is a picture of a serial killer!!! He is almost 6.5 inches svl. He has great colors.

Did he woke up by himself? I tried watering my guy the other day but he didn't stir.

Zaza, is relatively young. He is only about 2 years old. He has grown by leaps and bounds(forgive me ) in the last year.

I tried waking them up with just spritzing them, but gave up and just placed him in his water. Made sure that the water was not deep enough to cover his nostrils. All my kids are now awake.

Hey Kevin, yes, everything is on schedule. They are all awake and eating. I am trying to get the males to start calling more. That is why you see Zaza in a 10gal with 1 inch of water. I am hoping he will start calling, but no luck so far.

The only frog I hear every night, at least once, is the green ornate adult, Thomas. Very high whistle. I think my males are just too lazy. Next, I will add a small sprinkler to the 10gal to spritz them for a few hours each day.

The outside rain chamber is coming along well. Just adding the final details to get it up and running.
