My Pet Toads Died.

We had two Amercian Toads who just died. They were fine.

In a large aquaraium.Well fed. Bottled water. We made a mistake I think.

We also put two Madagascar frogs in there. They were fine for awhile. Even hung out

with each other. Then the toads got really thin...then just died. We are heartbroken.

What happened. what did we do wrong..?

Jim, first off, I'm really sorry. This is sad... As for what went wrong, there might have been a few factors, but what you will certainly read withing the next few posts is that mixing different species might have affected your toads. Species should not be mixed, at all, let alone species from different regions. Frogs and toads have skin toxins that are dangerous to other species. And so on...
