Jim, first off, I'm really sorry. This is sad... As for what went wrong, there might have been a few factors, but what you will certainly read withing the next few posts is that mixing different species might have affected your toads. Species should not be mixed, at all, let alone species from different regions. Frogs and toads have skin toxins that are dangerous to other species. And so on...
