    Default Weird behaviour?

I fed my Kassina about 4 crickets yesterday, but as I was getting some teeny crickets out for the gecko I thought I'd give him a few more tonight.

When I put them in he just ignored them even though they were within striking distance, I thought he just wasn't hungry. Then I noticed he was moving oddly, almost like he was straining to do a poo! He then puffed himself up like a little ball and was wiping his mouth with his front foot, opening and closing his mouth like he was eating something. I wondered if he was shedding, but I didn't actually see anything come off him or go in his mouth.

Once all this wriggling and puffing up was done, he got on with catching and eating crickets. I actually watched him eat about 6, so he must've had plenty of room still after yesterdays dinner!

Any idea about these curious movements?

Defensive posturing maybe? Bit of a mystery.

It could've been had was finishing off his shed when you saw him. Can't say for sure.
