    Arrow Frog identification

Okay so i work at a grocery store and one of the produce people found a frog in a crate of broccoli that was in the cooler.
Not certain on the type of frog..anyone know what kind it is?from what i looked up it may be a sierran treefrog or a pacific treefrog..maybe, but the markings are a bit different from any pics i've seen.
currently it's in a container with about 1/2 inch of water(distilled) and a rock, with some floating sticks so he doesn't drown, he/she seems happy atm.

Hi welcome to the forum. That's one interesting story lol. I looked at both Sierran and Pacific Tree frogs and I'm leaning more towards Sierran.

I'm no expert, but it looks similar to this
Leaf Green Tree Frog (Litoria nudidigita)

Its none of the above. Its my opinion it's either Hyla arborea, the Eurasain treefrog or Pseudacris ornata, the ornate chorus frog. Find out where the broccoli came from and you have your answer.

I'd have to go with Kurt on this one. Probably not L. nudidigia, because the juveniles are brown. I would also suggest possibly a pine barrens tree frog (kind of a stretch thought). I'm going to go with Ornate Chrorus frog or possibly Pseudacris regilla.

This is a real tough one. It's definitely a Hylid (we all guessed as such) and i'm almost positive it's an American species. I'm really thinking its in Pseudacris and not Hyla. The shape seems right for Pseudacris. However, looking over Pseudacris ornata and regilla, the striping seems inconsistent. I love a mystery, so i'll dig around later!

Definitely part of the Pseudacris family...very easy species to care for. I have my 6 Pacific Chorus frogs set up in a forest-like habitat, complete with branches, hanging leaves and a small pond for sitting in. Most Chorus frog species inhabit either forest or marsh/lake habitats.
