Is there a list somewhere around the internet of a list of frogs currently kept in the hobby? I won't say comprehensive, because I'm sure there are more than I care to count, but longer than the 10 or so species I usually find on this and other sites.
I'm new to the frog hobby, and I'm trying to decide what I want my first species to be. If you've read my intro thread, you'll know I've been thinking about using my 15g tall, but now I'm thinking I'll dismantle my empty 20g tall and use that instead, and use the 15g for Mourning Geckos. But thats getting off track.
Is there any list out there? Preferably one that has at least a little bit about the species. I am hoping to find something that can eat worms or fruit flies, as opposed to jumping (scary) crickets, or roaches that I would have no clue where to put.
Thanks,
Dragonbeards
I often find that some of the best sites to look for what's in the hobby is on sites from people that actually sell them like josh's frogs, alpha pro pets etc. A lot of them will also include a brief description of the animal and care requirements.
I have worked on several lists over the years. I plan on updating the last one I did for the NEHS, this if the flash drive will connect with my computer. This list also includes other amphibians and reptiles.
