I went to collect this little guy a few days ago and noticed he has odd pupils. He seemed to be able to see ok so I took him home. Im just wondering what this could be? I've nether seen this in a frog before and it's made me curious. This is my first time keeping waxy monkey frogs so more info on this would be great.***
Hear is his normal eye.
And this is the odd one.
Hear are some pics of his new home.
For some reason the pics have becom squished but you get the point.
Thanks in advance.
I have no idea what that could be. My guess would be a congenital defect in they eye. Its probably safe to assume that your frog is blind in that eye. However, in terms of overall health, this probably has very little if any effect. He looks great other than they eye.

Well he seems to be able to hunt and catch his pray fine so I'm not too worried. Thanks for the help mate.
I was also thinking it looked like a congenital defect since there doesn't seemt to be any remnants of trauma such as scarring etc. If he's eatng fine then I would guess it's just one of those things he's had for some time and has adapted to well.
