Hi,
We have two terrariums in our living room (and other terrariums in our office). Last night, the fire-bellied toads (male and female) were having a "good time". The male was croaking and all round the female.
At one point, just after the FBT male sang, the Big-Eyed Tree frog started croaking in his terrarium, which is about 10 feet away. And from this point on, it seems as if it was an exchange...
Is it coincidence, or can is there a correlation...?
Thank you,
eric
Come on...you've seen the cartoons where all the animals talk.. how do you know that's not true. Lol
Seriously, yes. I believe that through sound and visual display all animals communicate. So, for different frogs to communicate from one terrarium to another would be very easy.
