I saw the lineage from which I will be getting mine yesterday, but will only get mine in June!!
Something else that was quite evident during my visit was how different the terrariums were because of how old they are... These were 4-5 year old terrariums, full of moss and extremely wet and humid. He also uses cork walls only because of how well it keeps the humidity and his creeping figs and plants like to crawl on it and attach themselves on it. Next one I build will have a few of these walls.
Exactly. Thats how Black Jungle was. Every viv was soaked and full of moss growth. Walls, face of glass, wood, and substrate was alive with moss. One viv he said was about 20 years old and it was amazing.
Actually my substrate is always damp right through but no real build up of moisture in the Hydro Balls.
Next I'll have to look into more lighting. Black Jungle had a 24 inch hoods for three bulbs at only 44 dollars U.S. Thats pretty inexpensive.
Just set up my 1st cultures with Black Jungles culture mix. Did three just in case.
Can't wait to get my own feeder going.

As always your mileage may vary!
I may or may not know what I'm talking about!
Na, no pics Mike. I killed the battery on my phone using the GPS feature.
They had all sorts of tanks. A ton of ten gallon and probably 29 gallon tanks. All vertical placed.
They had some bowed front huge tanks... guessing 100 gallon each tank.
They also had one that was a huge box and the top rolled open like a gyro scope. Top was so wet we had to open to see the inhabitants.
Also some huge rectangle tanks. All the tanks sat vertical except the wall display tank which was at least 6 foot tall and 4 foot wide and 2 deep. This one was recently cleaned out of the overgrowth.
Next trip I'll have to take photos.
the web site us pretty good. Lots of Picts.
Thought I was going to call it a Nap and TV day for Sunday but guess that was cut short when I decided to get creative and add lighting to the Viv with an older desk lamp I had.
Below is a pic of the lamp and the setup with the lamps on.
And I did get that nap, some TV, shoveling, and time in reading Frog Forum ;-)
