    Default Green Frogs

I've been a bit interested in Green Frogs, and am thinking about acquiring one. Anybody know any dealers that will ship, or have any advice for their care and caging?

Their care is pretty similar to Bullfrogs, though they don't need as large an enclosure. I don't know of anyone selling them right now (I suppose they're considered not as interesting as other Rana species) but I think they turn up on kingsnake occasionally (as feeders too).

Like a Bullfrog? ok. They live in my area, but so do Wood Frogs, which I think might be a bit more attractive and interesting. I'm sure their care is similar.

Wood frogs are more terrestrial than green frogs or bull frogs.

Yeah, you care for a wood frog very much like you would for a toad rather than a Ranid like a bull or green frog.

There are alot of green frogs up where I live...I did have a couple survive being fed to my Cane toads for sometime. They love the water, they were always in the toads bath. I wouldnt mind keeping a few Rana species myself...we have Northern Leopard's, Wood, Green and the Bullfrog up here.
