Keeping frozen mice questions

I pulled out about 3 days go a frozen mouse that thawed the next day in the fridge. How long will this mice last in the fridge now that it is thawed?

Also I accidentally put the other frozen mice in the fridge and thawed them out can I refreeze them or no?

I guess just a couple days after thawed. There are bacteria in fridge that easily transfers

dont refreeze them. I have never left one unfrozen for more than a few hours.

I agree with Eric. There are lots of bacteria in the gut and dead mice are likely to decompose rapidly, even if refrozen or refrigerated. I would use or discard within an hour or two, personally. E. coli, for example, can double in number in about 30 minutes...

A useful analogy might be if you shot a deer or caught a fish. You wouldn't want to leave them uncleaned very long, and certainly, you wouldn't want to freeze, defrost and then refreeze (and defrost) either one and eat it!!!
