    Default Gastrotheca riobambae

Hey guys. So, does anyone keep this frog??? They look really cool and I want them so bad. I have a book that mentions them in the care section. It says that thought unusual they not that hard to care for. Is this right? It alos says they don't need to be kept in that tall of a tank because they tend to live on or near the tank. If anyone has pictures of the frogs or the tanks can you please post them.

    Thanks
    Alex

This particular species is listed as endangered and may be difficult to obtain. I don't know of anyone breeding marsupial frogs for the pet trade. It is a very hardy frog and easy to care for in captivity, they would be a wonderful addition to any terrarium if you can find them. Good luck in your search.

I just saw that these were becoming available today. I guess they're planning on selling them in trios. I would love to get my hands on them (in my dream world i'm rolling in dough). I guess we'll have to wait and see how the cost, but Understory says they are easy to keep and breed.

$375/trio was the price listed in the announcement.
