Default New Viv for my Dendrobates Leucomelas

    Hi all,
I started a new viv for my Bumblebee Dart Frog and the pics of its construction are at the link below.
It needs some plants and looking for suggestions on what to put in the stump on the left of tank. Any thoughts?

Also need a source for some small bromiliads. Local place only has huge ones.

Wow don, nice color, shape, &texture: well done. I think when u get a few broms in there u will be happy. Maybe 2 broms in stump? Or a fern? I saw a few broms in Walmart, wish I could ship them without them freezing, I have no more room, and whites just smush them any way. Looks good!!

Thanks but a ways to go still. Won't be able to move anything in until I know all the silicone and foam is dry all the way. I think once it starts smelling like wet dirt.

I'll have to check out one of the 3 local Walmarts :-) for some. I did check Lowes and Home Depot but all they had was huge ones.

Here is a good place: Black Jungle Terrarium Supply. I haven't ordered any from them, but I've heard a lot of good things about them and it looks like they have a nice selection.

Thanks :-) They are about 3 hours from me and could make for a nice Saturday road trip :-)

Well, I think it is all down for now with the exception of venting the top some.

I like that brom in there. The size gives it focus, and u know where the frogs will hang out at, pretty sure that's where home base will be. 20 gal, hmmm, how many frogs u going to put in there? That could fit quite a few bee's. Super job, makes me WANs spend my whole tax return!!!

I moved the Brom to the background. Opened it up more.
