    Default Yay Babies!

I posted a thread awhile back about a tarantula I got in Vegas from a local pet shop which was a P. lugardi. Well she had one super large big booty and we were hoping she was gravid, but since it's been awhile we started to think she might just be a little fatty.

Yesterday we went in to feed everyone and noticed her butt dramatically shrunk and sure enough in the back corner is a lovely large sac!

Hopefully within the next month or so we will have lots of little adorable babies! I attached a photograph of when we got her to just show you what she looks like and to show the big booty. I would take a picture of her now but I can't disturb her as I don't want her to in turn eat her sac.

Oh WOW, how many do u think you'll have? Are you going to rear all of them. Just build a spider room, get one of those glass showers and put a top on it! LOL

It's hard to say how many she will have , but I know another breeder had around 80-90 babies. Hopefully we get a good number of them but I'll be happy if it's even just 1.

We plan to keep around 5 of them and then sell the rest to other breeders and collectors. Let's just hope it's not a dud!

    Thank you

She is already being super protective. Wouldn't want to be any of the crickets going in there. She literally hit one to warn it and flung it across her enclosure. lol
