hi great to have you on the forums. How big are the Guppys and how big are the tadpoles
Hi, I came to the site during research on when to start feeding the green froglets solid food, I have about 25 that hatched in a 10 gal shrimp tank. I have some that are almost done absorbing the tail and some that dont even have the back legs yet. I have really enjoyed watching the growth and development of these little guys. Since I have so many and I obviously cany put them outside yet I am building a nice habitat in a 55 gal tank. I do have one question tho.. I have some fish that are constanly having babies and unlike guppies, they dont eat their young. so can I put a few of he babies in the 'tween" tank and will they hunt them in the water? They have small crickets in thier now, but I would get tired of the same food all the time.. anyway.. nice to meet you all!

Hi and welcome. Sorry but I don't have an answer for this but good luck with the froglets.
Welcome to the forums! Looking forward to seeing you around and good luck with your froglets!
Hi there and welcome to the forum.
Welcome aboard. I would not feed fish to frogs. First of all, tree frogs usually don't hunt below the water's surface. Secondly there are some nutritional problems associated with this practice.

You all are so very niceNo tho I think comes the harder part....keeping them going, it is one thing to get them to froglet stage and quite another to keep them alive with the change in food and enviroment.. but I have found some great tips here and I am confidant that I will be able to release them in the late spring back to the frog pond.
welcome![]()
