Hello! My name is Kris. I'm from northwest Florida and totally new to frogs. I've never owned one before but after a lot of thought have decided that I would like to finally go ahead and get one. I'm primarily interested in pacmans, but my boyfriend would like to eventually look into dart frogs. I'm quite excited about being able to get my first frog soon.

I've had experience with many type of animals, but they've all had fur, lol. I'm a professional dog trainer and have been actively involved in the dog fancy for 12 years now, both training and showing in various venues. I believe in positive training techniques and have had great successes with many different species. I also have years of experience working with horses, my specialty being "problem" horses. One of my greatest personal satisfactions to date has been taming a wild mustang stallion named Diggany. He went from being labeled "dangerous" to my lunchtime companion who enjoyed my sandwich crusts. Always up for a challenge, I've taught tricks to all of my pets over the years. I have had numerous rats who learned to come when their names were called, ferrets who behaved like dogs and one rather smart quarter horse who had an impressive array of tricks, including bowing, rearing on command, answering yes or no questions with headshakes and fetching tennis balls when thrown. Needless to say, I had a lot of time on my hands and am quite clicker savvy.

While I am a fountain of information where dog and horse training is concerned, keeping frogs is totally new to me and I look forward to soaking up information like a sponge!
