    Hi Hi!
I keep the Leptopelis vermiculatus. I currently have 14 right now So, it does sound like the little one is shedding, which is totally normal. When I notice mine doing this I use a fogger to up the moisture in the habitat and help them out. I also will turn the rain system on which stirs the males up vocally, but it does seem that it all does the trick. If you don't have this, use a simple spray bottle and mist them about 6x a day, and make sure to use water conditioner in the water that you are spraying on them/ providing them. Good habit to get into. Best wishes with your colorful friends!

*Edit* Also, from my experience with these joyful frogs, they seem to only burrow when there is insufficient humidity, when the temp gets too high, or too many of them in a small space. The males do a territorial grrrr.. clack when warning each other, and just a clack when calling females. Hope this helps!

Hi! WOW 14 of them, that is awesome. Your setup sounds amazing. Do you have pictures of them? I do mist them with conditioned water but I need to do it more often. I dug him out last night to get a good look at him and he looked perfectly fine (just a little dirty lol). And when I left, he was sticking on his little plant so it probably is a humidity issue. Thanks so much for your helpful info!

P.S. While the rrrrr sound is territorial it's so cute. Whenever I have someone over and the frogs start talking, they are like WHAT IN THE WORLD was that?? The look on their face when they see it is a little frog is priceless.
