    Default Re: The Lazy Frog

I have 4 cranwelli and two seem to stay put in one spot, while the other two chase food and go back and forth from different holes occasionally.

Like you mentioned, I've read and have been told that the ornate are more active and eat more. Though with my ornate he seems to be on par with my lazier two ( movement wise ) and then his appetite is actually the smallest out of everyone. He seems to like going 2-3 days with really light meals then randomly he will have a day where he eats double the amount he normally does but it's still less then the others.

From what little experience I have so far, I would think more of a personal trait of the individual frog. They kind of remind me of Grammostola rosea tarantulas when it comes to their personalities and traits. They have a wide general and typical idea of how they are suppose to act, but that also includes the idea that not being typical is also normal.
