I started out my pacman collection with a cranwell's horned frog. Though timid while a froglet he still moved from his A and B holes and the water dish at night.(He is very nocturnal)
Now he still changes position every few days and I do still spot him in his dish.

I have 2 ornates that I purchased after my canwelli. When they were froglets they moved occasionally still less than the canwelli. My ornates are much more feisty and hungry than the cranwelli, but they never move. They do not change holes or even use their water dish. They both have not changed positions in 2 months since i prodded them into their water dishes. They seemed to enjoy the soak.

So I am wondering is this lack of movement (also not soaking) a species trait or a personal trait of the frogs themselves. Any ornate owners experience the same thing vs the canwelli?

Maybe I just have some super lazy ornates!

( I am not saying a horned frog should be moving a lot , just a comparison of canwelli vs ornata )
