What species frogs? Size, native habitat and toxicity will be important here.
I've had Flip, Flop and Flap (no don't ask where I got their names) for 2.5 years and I was wondering if there was any sort of other creature I could keep in the water side of their terrarium? (Terrarium is 60x45x60high) or am I just being silly? I don't mean a fish as such, but maybe a newt or something. people I ask reckon my frogs would eat the newts. Would they? the frogs are pretty cool on their own but.......... another little pet, maybe..........?
your ideas would be appreciated, thanks

Fish might work out (depending on species involved), but a newt won't.
I'd like to hear the reasoning for outright dismissal I'm sure you have reasons but I'd like to know them
Not for an aquatic set up, but green and gray tree frogs get along fine with green and brown anoles, the tricky thing I found is getting the humidity right.
I separated my anoles and frogs after trial mixing not because it wasn't possible but because it's simpler not to mix. I've tried mixing FBT with FBN, I found the newts while not being attacked or poisoned were simply stressed by the aggressive nature of the toads, intimidation was the biggest problem, so again much simpler not to go to the trouble.
Mixing carries risks some more than others, I believe it's not out of the question but you have to consider alot more factors, poisoning, aggression, intimidation, humidity, temperature, and space etc
So it is safer and far easier to have species set ups.
Linda has Green and Golden Bell fogs ( Litoria aurea) Tree frogs.Love the names Linda...lol
