When i got the frog, i was told to go ahead and feed him mouse from the very beginning. ever since then, she has been eating mouses all along just once every week or 2. now she just started to eat at least once a month, she does have a heating lamp on (red light of course) and she is normally hiding under the coco husk thingy. is there anyway i can get her use to eating anything else, i have tried night crawlers and crickets but doesnt seem to eat it. i dont know what else to feed her, she dont eat the mouse anymore.she is about the size of my palm. any suggest?
How long has it been since your frog last ate? Are your sure your temperature and humidity are correct? I think you are on the right track as far as feeding goes. Just try a few more food items and see what catches its attention (try crickets and nightcrawlers again, also superworms, roaches, various other feeder insects at your local reptile/pet shop). Most seem to eat when they go long enough without food and get hungry.
well now he hasn't ate since November, really dont know what is going on, she get out the dirt sometimes to walk around. so i know she is not dying. what should i do?
I don't know why, but the past couple of months my pacman won't eat anything but mice. I tried giving her everything and she just isn't interested. Maybe has something to do with winter, I don't know. I am hoping she will go back to eating other things soon. I don't know, I suppose if your frog will go for the mouse it is better than nothing for now and keep trying other things until he eats it.
