In my noble opinion, 2 is really the max. on that space.

The small viv wouldn't be big enough to house frogs for long,
it can be used for quarantaine or raising your offspring,
    but no more then that.
Even for the thumbnails it is a size that might work and might not.
I heard people breeding with a breeding couple Ranitomeya in it, but i also heard about it failing.
Personally i would not even consider putting anything in it besides insects or temporarily some offspring.

I think 3 would be fine in that size of an exo terra. I know a lot of people who put a max of 4 in that size exo terra and the little guys are living healthy and happy.

Ginger and Lee- I guess I was lucky enough to get two that are already used to each other

I just hate going into pet stores and seeing frogs in bad situations It makes me want to take them all home!

wesleybrouwer- I think I'm going to keep the small one for quarentine/sick tank, I want to be sure it will be enough space for an animal before I even try it.

My one white is pretty large, about 4, 4 1/2 inches?
Also depends on male or female I suppose

ya, females are bigger, but I don't see many that big, maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. There was a thread like a month ago titled frogs for 5 gallon, and there were a bunch of answers for what can go in there. Maybe use forums search and see if u can find it. I'd do it for u but on **** iPhone that has no cut and paste. So I wouldn't be able to forward anyways. 12x12x12= and divide by231=7.5 gal.

    Come on.
    You got to be kidding.
Who advised such a small tank for a frog ?

If you don't like to spend more room, look into another hobby....
    Maybe stamp collecting ?

I am,not used to gallon and inches,
But what I looked up on the size is it is a tank of 40x20x25cm.
That is really to small to provide enough space.
But well, maybe it is common use over there, although doubtful.
Around here a minimum for the smallest species would be no less then 40x40x40cm, although in my opinion it can be even a small size for a couple of thumbnails.
This kind of sizes are only for my offspring to grow the first month or 4.
