He is about 6 or 7 months now. He is the size of my palm- he is very big...
I have had him for about 3 months now. A little bit before Christmas he has slowed down his eating when I first got him he was eating like 20 plus crickets a week. He was going through a growth spurt he has doubled in size. I have gotten him to eat a few crickets lately. He ate a cricket last night. I have tried to get him to eat at least twice a day. Should I try a pinkie?
I heard pacs can't resit mice. I have tried worms but he never really tried to take a bite.
He is kept about 80 doing the day. It's colder at night but I do have a small heater in my room on at night.
I live in Utah. Other then the eating he seems healthy. I have seen him poo a week ago. So maybe he is eating some of the crickets. I am leaving in a certain amount of crickets now so I can moniter his eating.
I do use calicum dust. I heard they can live off there cell fat doing the winter.
He still burrows normally and goes to his water at least once every few days. I have cleaned his cage out quite a bit and soaked it in hot water- his eyes are alert and clear.
He still trys to escape when I move him to clean his cage.
I have woke up to hear him chrip. What type of fish could I try and feed him? I don't want to feed him a goldfish.
