After posting I decided I would try one last time and put Bruce into a warm soak. I left him in there a little longer this time, about 20 minutes, just to be absolutely sure he was in the water long enough. I added just a tiny pinch of salt and a few drops of that blue stuff to the water to see if those would help (now I'm thinking the blue stuff is Melafix, I was doing some research and stumbled across it online and it looks similar). I used a larger amount of water this time to make sure Bruce wasn't exposed to too much of either ingredient.

When I pulled him out he had turned the dark brown color he was when I first got him (lately he's been looking a lot greener, even if it is pale with a brownish tint) and I felt horrible, but new it had to be done. I washed him with clean cool water before putting him back in his viv and he went right to sleep.

I hope I didn't stress him out too much, but I am starting to worry severely about all this and will definitely be calling the vet tomorrow. I took him out of the water about 20 minutes ago and so far he has left me no presents so I don't even know if soaking him will help at all...
